ELATEC’s RFID Components bringing more things life
Its amazing how things can become more interactive and more alive these days due to technology. I have recently learned that aside from having Touch Screen and TFT Display technology, that are now becoming popular because of the improved quality image and interaction, there is also the RFID Components that are currently being used as part of interactive museum guides, personal identification cards, trackers, and many other things. I have recently read about an article that displayed how a museum was able to benefit from the RFID technology. In Germany, ELATEC, the leading distributor of electronic equipment such as RFID readers, Electronic Components, Cards and Services, and Security Solutions, have established a tie up between the Muhlenhof open-air museum. Visitors of the exhibits are given RFID tags that are designed to activate RFID readers and play multimedia content like music, videos, images, and text. Because of the use of the RFID technology, visitors enjoy a more interactive tour around the museum and through the exhibits included. The RFID and all other electronic technology used were distributed by ELATEC. Its amazing how ELATEC and its partners can make simple boring things and activities more alive, easy, and interesting.
